I'm not saying it is corrupt, only that it is taken into
account.

That said, all the hints database files are only that; it is
"safe" to blow them away at any time.

PS: I don't need a separate copy of mails.  I do read the
mailinglist; an additional copy merely imposes extra work
on me.  Please don't do that.
