Thanks for your reply.

I don't have an explicit
transport =

option on the redirect router as I expect the results to re-enter the top of the routers chain after expansion (and that may loop once or twice if an alias points to an alias).

Do you think setting a magic X- header and picking that up in the dnslookup routers might be sane?

outgoing_aliases:
