You have a corrupt DB file, or one not matching the version of DBM linbrary
you are (now?) running with.

Stop the daemon and wait for all exim processes to finish,
then remove the file and start the daemon.

if exim "changed" to a new db format, shouldn't exim detect an handle this internally?
