Dear collegues,

after upgrading my Debian 11 (Bullseye) with exim 4.94
to Debian 12 (Bookworm) with exim 4.96 I see for every mail going from my MX
host to the internal
Exchange server the message "The TLS connection was non-properly terminated"
However the mail is delivered fine.
There had been no change on the Exchange side and also no change in the Exim
config of my MX host
The log line are as follows:

2023-06-28 11:04:14 1qER5y-002VJI-0r <= t...@example.com U=root P=local S=415 from

2023-06-28 11:04:14 1qER5y-002VJI-0r Completed

I did a
        exim -d+all -bm -f t...@example.com -t <  test.eml
and put the output from the STARTTLS command unter
https://pastebin.com/mLjjXaFJ

Debian 11 uses 3.7.1-5 for gnutls (exim under Debian is linked against gnutls)
Debian 12 uses 3.7.9-2

Can I simply ignore this message ? Can I avoid this message ?

Regards, Olaf
