Dear Heiko
The purpose of my response was to expose the fact that our friend Donald is
Russian.
Why should anyone proud of their country throw out such inaccurate and
inflammatory statements using a false name. It was relatively easy to see
that he was not what he purported to be because not only was the grammer
wrong, but I doubt you would find an Irish family would would use a Scottish
first name.
I have not bother to respond to him as yet again there are so many
inaccuracies and I can't be bother to try and correct someone who is not
prepared to read my mail carefully.
By the way, I am not an immigrant like the Turks in your country and frankly
I could care less what anyone says about the British Government. I am not a
fan of politicians myself however the judiciary are wholly separate.
I wonder what the reaction in Germany would be if someone was assassinated
with a radioactive compound exposing not only the victim but the general
public as well.
My living in Russia does not mean that I cannot have views on their foreign
affairs. Their internal politics do not interest me at all.
Also the days of expatriates earning any more than they can elsewhere in the
world have long gone.
I have not been to Platinum in many years however it is just behind the
Marriott Tverskaya...there are better clubs....try Bordo!
Please also note that I do not hide behind a sydonym and my name is fully
identified. Ghurka12 is my hotmail account named after the regiment that my
father belonged to.
By the way I have lived here for many years and was first invited by a
Russian subsidiary of Gazprom! At no tme did I say I did not like it here,
as far as I am aware....
Regards
Chris

Donald & Gurkha,
Well, reading your entertaining argument, I have to admit that Donald
replied well.
Seriously: We are guests in this country. Full stop. We are here not
because of the sunny Moscow beaches and the palm trees, but because we earn
well. As foreigners, we have no right to interfere in local politics, or
judge it. Nobody forced us to come to Russia, and if anyone of us doesn't
like it here, then better go.
I'm wondering what would the Brits say if all the foreigners in UK would
start complaining about their government...and there's plenty to complain
about British politics, I don't think it needs further details here.
We have a bit similar things going on in Germany, many Turkish immigrants
complaining about the government. But then we say the same: If you don't
like it in Germany, why did you come here in the first place???
BTW, where is this Platinum Night Club? :)
