In Suzdal there is a wonderful place on one of the walled convents that I think is to the south of the town. It is the opposite end of the town to where the Kremlin is and about a 10min walk to the centre and its near the river. Sorry I can't be more specific and remember the name. If you like log cabins in a quiet area it would be ideal. It also has a restaurant and it cost us about $40 per night.
