Hello,
there was a very active discussion about it aver a month ago, after someone
asked if 2500 dollars per month is ok for a person to live comfortably.
There were many different ideas of what "living comfortably" means, I guess it
all depends on what you are looking for. Anyway, you can rent a place for
1000-1500 dollars not far from the city centre, and a thousand left is ok to go
out once a week plus buying food and clothes.
So in my opinion 2500 is ok even if you have to pay your rent yourself.
Lena
