Nick,

1/ If someone knows the address or website address, it only takes 2 seconds to
write a quick reply. A google search can take ages if you don't know what
you're looking for. My google searches hardly ever show me what I want first
time I try! I only use Afisha for cinema guides and don't use eating out
thingies that you're talking about.

I would like to thank those who did post the address and also the site of the
cafe. Thanks!

2/ His reply was sarcastic which some here might have though was rude and not
necessary. If someone is going to be rude or sarcastic, they should get their
grammer right or they'll leave themselves open to a bit of 'banter'

Regards,

Nick

All kou was pointing out is that to ask on the expat list where a venue is in
Moscow when we all know - especially those who've been here years - that it
will be listed in numerous local sites like afisha and other nightlife and
eating-out guides, not to mention Google and the like, is just plain lazy and
inconsiderate. Yet the thanks he gets for pointing out this obvious truth is
sarcasm and a ticking-off on English grammar.

Agree, very bright comment from [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Any possibility of implementing a very simplified list / data base on
expat.ru (or on another site J )?
Next month, someone new may start the same threat againÂ….

I have 'if whether' heard of Google.

Thanks for your amazing contribution to this thread ;)

Let's keep these threads going as I'm sure these are useful to people...me
included of course.

What about:

1/ Drivers (without cars) - can anyone recommmend one?

2/ Drivers (with cars) - same question.

3/ Tickets for Russia vs England football game in October?

Regards,

Nick

Nick
