I had my UK driving license translated & notarized in Yaroslavl, so I don't
think you need only consider the notary at Chisty Prudy. I believe under
strict letter of the law you should re-do it every year or two but I've had
mine for 4yrs now & regularly get stopped & its yet to cause a problem.

Elena was saying something that's not quite clear to me "take your internal
license to the GAI & get an International one". Does this mean that if I
take my UK license they will give me an International license, which will
then be acceptable inside Russia???

P.S. Nick Rees, no wonder you're managing & not playing football, get the
treadmill out of the box man. No doubt the Flagons would pay the 18,000 to
see you last for 90mins. :-)

Cheers

john
