Hi List, I went to the German Dental Center three years ago and saw a Russian dentist there who told me the pain I was feeling at my gum line on both sides was all about the three crowns I needed to get. Plus it appeared that I had four cavities. Total bill was going to be several thousand Euros. I scheduled an appointment to have the work done - but then thought about it. I have a mouth full of really nice American teeth and even though I hadn't been to the dentist in more than a year, I thought it was fishy. My German friend, who had a lot of work done at the clinic (several crowns) reassured me that it was all fine, the doctor was great, the service was great, yadda, yadda. I decided to get a second opinion at the American-Russian Dental Clinic and saw Dr. Giovanni, who looked at the fancy films I had taken at the German Center, took his own x-rays and declared my teeth perfect. To me the guy was a hero - and didn't even charge me for the visit, "since nothing was wrong with my teeth." We have used him ever since and we love everything about the whole clinic - five stars! We have also seen Dr. Kim, who is a cool zen guy who calmed my 8 year old right down with a little guitar before the appointment.
