Hello all, I'm looking for a Kendo instructor in Moscow, who can accommodate a 37-yr-old dad and a 2-1/2-yr-old toddler. For those of you who don't grok, Kendo is the Japanese art of fencing (with cool swords).
Basically, I want to teach my daughter to hit things with sticks in a disciplined fashion. She's reached the dexterity level necessary to swing a stick and hit something purposefully. Oh, can I get a witness?? And if you're thinking I'm a weirdo dad for entertaining the idea of my daughter swinging sticks around at ther age, the answers are: 1) yes I am, and 2) I think it wouldn't be TOO harmful to discipline a toddler's instinct to smack the crap out of everything around. To give her a bit of focus, while giving dad a workout. So, we're looking for a good Kendo teacher. Anybody know anybody? -Alexander
