    A Russian colleague said that in the month of May there are bugs in the 
Russian woods that are infected with septicemia (pardon the spelling).  He 
advises staying out until it gets hotter. 

    Anyone else heard this? 

    I live in Butovo and it is lovely to cycle here. outside the MKAD, fresh 
air and loads of open fields, rivers weirs paths and country villages.
