Heyo to all expats, and those who love them! The Last Stopper's Club Moscow is meeting on Saturday the 31st, at metro Kurskaya (Radial, blue line), in the middle of the station, by 8pm SHARP. Then we're heading out -- all the way to the last stop -- to metro Shelkovskaya. There we shall trust our basic instincts to find sources of food, drink, and fun!
The Last Stoppers Club is an OPEN gathering of expats (and locals who like to hang out with expats) who may be tired of hanging out at silly, overpriced clubs and restaurants in the city center. We offer a chance to explore the "real" Moscow -- by cruising out to the "last stops," or truly butt-ends of the city. Surly waiters, drunken babushki, weird appetizers, confused barmaids -- it's a blast for those with a sense of humor. It's also a reasonably safe adventure, considering that you'll be surrounded by a sizable group of people (well, minimum 10-15). Enough of us speak Russian fluently, so you don't have to worry about ordering noxious food, or getting lost -- just stick with the group, and don't drink anything TOO suspicious. :) (Although dancing with drunken babushki is encouraged.)
