Howdy expats:). This is for anyone who looking for a multizone DVD player and
does not want or can deal with software cracking inside the player.
A listing in the regular electronics Expat forum last year directed me to
the BBK brand, especially the DV520 series or newer. We bought the DV524si. It
works perfectly well with the US "40th Anniversary of Sound of Music", all
Russian, and European DVD's to date. Their company website gives you the
particulars about the specifications and prices. It also told which model
replaced an older model to make it easier to decide which to buy. We actually
bought our model at Technosila last year.
Just a parting comment for those who want a turn-key (not turkey) solution.
