Hi Expats-

I have been offered 2 jobs and am currently trying to decide between them! One
is in Moscow and the other is elsewhere! They both pay about the same and
include the same types of benefits (free apartment, discount on language
lessons...etc) as they are actually with the same company! The only difference
is the location...Moscow or another city in Europe.
I don't know much about Moscow today...(I have a limited historical perspective
from history class a million years ago)! Can anyone provide me any insights to
help me decide? and possibly give me a comparison on safety to some other
major cities in the world? I have heard it is kind of like New York or Chicago
- there is crime, but if you use the normal precautions (ie don't visit bad
neighborhoods at night alone) you should be ok?

Thanks!

Christine
