Christine - I recently moved to Moscow from NYC a year and a half ago. I was a NYer for 20 years. Moscow has a lot in common with NYC as far as being a fast-paced place to live that has a lot to offer. But be warned - - it is really expensive here! Simple things cost too much, and bargains are not easy to find for a foreigner.
