I can second this recommendation - a sleepless night there on Sunday was well
worth the visit for our dog.

Queues can be long during the evenings so it's better to go daytime if you can
but they are good.

Regards,

Nick

Subject: Expat List Very strong recommendation for 24 hour vet services in
Moscow

I had a heck of a time finding good vet care for my dog in Moscow when faced
with an emergency situation, and I pass along a very, very strong
recommendation for the Tsentr (Center) Vet Clinic at Tsvetnoy Bulvar. I have
taken my dog there several times over the last 3 weeks and have gotten
outstanding service every time. They don't speak a lot of English, but, they
have a very clean clinic as well as modern, western x-ray and ultrasound
machines. They are also open 24 hours a day, and very close to the metro
station. Consultations with a doctor are 200R. An ultrasound of 3 body
segments, full xrays, blood tests and consultations came out to 4,000R.

I schlepped my dog to 2 other clinics as well as tried to get a vet to come to
my house to see him before discovering the Tsentr clinic. I am so very
thankful that I did -- I believe they saved his life.

I have since discovered that they have the reputation among Russians of being
the best vet clinic in Moscow.

They aren't paying me to write this -- but I hope it helps a few pet owners in
the future.
