Governess- Full Time Job Description This full time Governessing position requires the successful candidate to provide English language oriented family support to a family of 4, one 5 year old girl, a 12 year old boy and their parents. * Maximum of 35 hours across 5 days a week * Candidate must be willing to accept changes in schedule without prior notice * Candidate must be willing to work with a very flexible schedule determined by the needs of the family * Initial 1 year contract * 1 month holiday per year (31 days holiday)
Responsibilities As a Governess, your responsibilities are aimed at the the development of conversational English for the whole family. This also includes caring for, accompanying and working with the children in their leisure time. * Produce language oriented games and activities for inside and outside the house * Be engaged in regular 'play-time' activities which contribute to the natural development of the children * Ensure the highest level of care and safety for the children at all times * Provide a minimum of 4 hours of English lessons with the mother a week * Be willing to teach the father when requested * Help with English homework Personal Qualities * Female, between the age of 24 and 40 * Must love children * Imaginative and creative * Energetic * Outgoing * Clean and presentable Additional Information * Relevant qualifications, for example, TEFL Certificate, Governessing Certificate, childcare or teaching degree * Previous experience in a related field * First Aid certificate * Personal Travel insurance must covered by the candidate Accomodation Provided The family will provide the successful candidate with their own fully equipped, one bedroom, spacious flat, 5 minutes drive away from the family's home. The flat is located an easy 1.5 hours away from the centre of Moscow and only 40 minutes away from the nearest metro station. With regular mini-buses to and from the metro running throughout the day until 8:20pm. There are 3 small stores around the flat, all within a 5 minute walk which have all your necessary products. There are also a plethora of restaurants surrounding the area within a 20 minute walk and nearby busy townships all accessible by taxi. The flat is situated in a peaceful and friendly neighbourhood, with plenty of trees and places to walk with Moscow river being 15 minutes away.
