Films in English and other languages will be still shown in Russia! This
is the very first hand information! Though Sherlock Holmes and Avatar
are really shown in Russian only.
Besides, there was a very useful message a few days before:
- "Avatar" is only shown dubbed in Russia, so there is no cinema at the
moment

places in Moscow showing films in original: 35mm (always has a few in
different languages), Pioneer (newly open one with a selection too), Dome

Went looking for Sherlock Holmes in English, couldn't find it.
Asked.
Was told by a friend who is in the business, that as of 1.1.10, major film
studios do not allow showings in English in Russia. So... good luck with
Avatar, Sherlock Holmes, etc.
Hope that I am (or rather my buddy is) wrong.
