But, what is the worst, most irrelevant day in its history? When should the fine people at MT feel the deepest shame, I nominate yesterday... August 31, 2010. Front page: Photo - disembodied hand appears beyond Metro station column and ignored by cell caller. This is a full color front page photo. Hand, column, photo. Sad, really. Not to be outdone, on p. 15, photo - reflection in window, caption after smoke, reflections more visible. As final plea of journalistic collapse, an ad on p.4 promoting the "world renowned Humanitarian leader", Sri Sri Ravi Shanhar, an event sponsored by MT, which ad did not in any way distract me from p. 10, "Business for Business", with a very enlightening article titled "Let Out the Steam, and Get Into the Team" by one Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Sleazy, and at the same time sad, just sad. Now I kind of remember, why I don't touch the free MT for the past few months. How does one force oneself to go to work in that place?
