Hi:

I got the same message on the Moscow Times and also on several other sites (I
am in Tripoli, Libya on a server out of there, so it is not just Moscow
Related). I just checked the box Proceed anyway and then clicked the OK and
went in - sometimes another SCRIPT Warning RED SCREEN Shows up and you must
click that also. I wanted to see what the latest scoop was on the Mayor.

There was also a Notice on AOL that Firefox, Google, and Chrome are using
starting today and new blocking Script that will block any WEB Site that opens
with any of the (LIST of Words or Phases on the Block List). So, it may have to
do with that - Blocked Items include "Pamela Anderson" , but Pam Anderson is
OK; the list includes the Words Cocaine, variations of the word Lesbian - the
list has about 5000 words.

If you use AVG or any Anti-Virus Software, and the Resident shield is on, then
that quarantines the harmful things before they move; you can also scan any
link before going to it

Another recent problem is that a large number of phony sites are showing up on
Chinese servers - These use the same IP Address Wording as the Real Sites.

Some sites such as Escrow.com are affected, not from searches done in USA (it
is a US Company like a Bigger Paypal); but elsewhere in the world as there is
a duplicate Escrow.Com running illegally in China; so depending how the servers
route you; you could go to the actual Chinese trash site set up for phishing;
The Search Engines AOL. Google, Firefox and Chrome have also begun including
Scripts to block these Duplicate Phony Phishing Sites as if I search Escrow.com
on a web search through AOL; I go to the real site; but if I use Google or
Chrome; I go to the Phony Chinese site and the RED Block Screen comes up.

I also get a notice from Norton Antivirus that "An intrusion attempt was
blocked" and Risk name: "MSIE ADODB. stream Object File Installation Weakness",
whatever that might mean..

Probably they prefer we subscribe to the print edition? ))

Since last night my browser has been throwing up a message that
www.themoscowtimes.com is a "Reported Attack Page" and has been blocked by
my browser (Firefox). I tried Chrome also and got the same message. Anyone
else have this problem?
Charles
