Maybe an unknown historic fact in huge letters at the Military cemetary in / near Jerusalem which reads in Hebrew and RUSSIAN: Over 300.000 (three hundred thousand!) Jews died during WW II as active members in the ranks of the Soviet Red Army ... Not too bad of a "marginal contribution" to the defeat of Adolf Nazi. A "right" sense of patriotism is certainly a good thing as long as it it does not offend the feelings of other or "less importantant" or "less valueable" minorities.
