The 90-day rule applies to multi-entry visa, be it for 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. Getting a 3-month, 2-entry visum is the only legal solution to be in the RF for more than 90 days on a 180-day period on a business visum. >From the practical point of view, it is the only way to live in Russia all >year round (besides the visa runs every 90 days, obviously) if you do not have >a work permit and a work visum or a temporary residence permit or a residence >permit.
