Previously I'd heard that a foreigner can only receive a tech passport for a vehicle registered in their name for one year. From experience I came to realise the tech passport is issued with an expiry matching visa expiry but this was for one year work visa's."
Car registration is for the duration for the duration of the visa, so you should get a three-year registration. Mickey Berdy
