Hello,

I am a reporter of The Moscow Times newspaper Natalya Krainova, writing a story
about the effects of the Sept. 9 U.S. - Russia visa facilitation agreement,
which extended the allowed stay of citizens of both countries in the opposite
country to three years from the current average term of one year if the purpose
of their visit is private, tourism, work or humanitarian activities. It also
replaced the requirement for Americans to obtain an invitation from the Russian
party approved at the Federal Migration Service, which used to take up to a
month, with a notarized invitation, which needs one day to prepare.

I am looking for Americans who obtained the new three-year visa to ask you
whether it was easy to get the new visa, how long it took, and whether it makes
a difference for you compared to the previous types of visas.

Thank you so much in advance for your replies!

Sincerely,

Natalya Krainova
