Dear Expats and friends of Expats,

I am halfway through a delightful first-read of the renowned Scotsman
economist Adam Smith's 1776 seminal treatise "Wealth of Nations(WofN)"
which should more be more correctly titled, "Wealth of People in Nations".

I can't praise Adam Smith's book high enough to every business person in
any language. I should have read WofN years ago. Only when I read Stanley
Mitchell's acclaimed prose and poetry-rhythm 25-year-effort to translate
"Evgeny Onegin" did I discover that Pushkin was influence by WofN. It's a
whole mini-MBA in one non-jargoned book covering: marketing, finance,
management, operations, currency trading, negotiating, business development
et al. I will make a website with free public-domain "Wealth of Nations"
PDF files in as many languages as I can find on Project Gutenberg and other
similar websites.

If you don't have 150,000 Euros for an MBA degree i heartily recommend Adam
Smith's first ever comprehensive economics best-seller book. I think it is
shorter than Tolstoy's "War and Peace".

Best regards,
George Dole
