*Babysitter/Montessori Teacher Assistant job offer * Baby Lingua is looking for energetic, friendly and open-minded English native speakers of any variety of English for a part-time job of Babysitter/Montessori Teacher Assistant.
This position requires love, patience and respect for children. The assistant provides native English environment and encourage the children to understand and speak English. The assistant will instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth by performing the following duties: - assist the lead teacher with providing the children with a "prepared environment", prepare needed materials - become knowledgeable with Montessori terminology and methods - assist with individual and/or group activities, assist the children by moving around - complete different work cycles - motivate children to be independent and model for them appropriate manners - serve breakfast, snack and lunch while helping children to learn how to help themselves - assure children safety in the classroom and during outdoor activities. Requirements: Adherence to child-centred education, faith in child's potential Optimism, enterprise, humility Knowledge in Montessori education, degree in early education, psychology, linguistics are preferable Experience of working with children as teacher/babysitter/housekeeper is highly preferable.
