Dear expats in Moscow, My husband and I moved to Moscow from the Faroe Islands in March. We're expecting our first baby, a little boy who's due to be delivered in January. We're used to Scandinavian medical standards.
We were told that Perinatal Medical Center is the only place to go for giving birth. We've been registered at EMC until now but we really want to choose a doctor for the birth already at the PMC - also for the upcoming examinations. I would very much appreciate it if some of you could share your experiences with giving birth at the PMC and also recommend a doctor. We've already pre-picked Maria Borets and Yelena Karaganova but we know nothing of them besides their resumé. The gender of the doctor is not important.
