Per concludere: se nella 7.0 si cancella tutto il contenuto di /tmp occorre
reinstallare il font server

rpm -qa | grep xfs per vedere quale pacchetto contiene xfs (credo)

Si tratta di un BUG ovviamente non di una features... sembra sia stato risolto
nella 7.1
