Hello all,
I can't seem to get an incomming ftp to work.
even doing "ftp localhost" doesn't work
Here is the error message:
[root@localhost /root]# ftp localhost
Connected to localhost.
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection
'telnet localhost' is workin so I know the inetd is at least
functioning.
I looked at the 'etc/inetd.conf' file and the ftp line looks OK.
Where can I find documentation on inetd specifics? The man page is
brief. Is there a HowTo (i didn't see one)?
And has anyone successfully run AOL under WINE? I'd love to be able to
set up a cheap computer for e-mail for my mother... and AOL would be way
more intuitive for her.
