This is excellent news. Both projects have worked very hard to create an extremely friendly environment for users. Browsing through the BeroLinux "future plans" pages, I noticed that Bernhard has plans to move to an X-based installation routine. Is this still being considered for a future release? It's quite possibly the #1 thing I would love to see in a distribution. Caldera did it on one of their Preview releases from the original Caldera Network Desktop distribution, but dumped it by the time it got to final release. I'd LOVE to see it happen. Another thing I'd love to see is a distribution which is REALLY Filesystem Standard compliant. The spec has been out for over two years now, but I've YET to see a distribution that actually follows it. Any plans? or will BeroManLinux (hmm... superhero pictures jump into mind at that!) continue to add extra items to Red Hat? -- Steve Philp [EMAIL PROTECTED]
