Tom,

okay just off the top of my head ( i'm no means an expert) it seems 
logical as i would like to do the same thing. i have figured out that 
if your MB supports wake up on lan and your nics have the that 
feature and remote boot capabilities it's a doable.

i have the FIC PA-2013 MB which support that feature and intel is 
running a special on nics that have the other half of what i need.
