Yup. At least with RedHat:

[root@JM Gnome-primary]# rpm -i enlightenment-0.15.3-5.i386.rpm
failed dependencies:
        libFnlib.so.0 is needed by enlightenment-0.15.3-5
        libaudiofile.so.0 is needed by enlightenment-0.15.3-5
        libesd.so.0 is needed by enlightenment-0.15.3-5
        libttf.so.2 is needed by enlightenment-0.15.3-5
