I mean, what file should I backup ? That is, to restore it when it blows up and I find myself with the 3 or 4 default icons, and have to start all over agin from scratch !! This happens 3 times, and it was a time too much. I switched to WMaker only, until a cleaner release of GNOME is out. Don't misread me, I think this project is huge and wisely leaded. Those guys are truly genious, but such an enormous integration project, (the one who will definetly "seat down" Linux on the desktop, BTW) is long to set up, and gosh they are fast indeed, but I prefer to give it a try from time to time rather than "wipe the dust off" (French jargon, don't know how to express it in English :-) Anyway, please direct us to *the magic file* or maybe it's awhole dir ?
