        For lots more information, and to download the current beta at no
charge, check out www.vmware.com.  In short, it lets you run virtual
machines inside your linux machine.  Thus, you could (for example) have
Win95, Win95, and WinNT all running concurrently in separate windows on
your X desktop.  It also allows non-Windows OSs, including Linux,
FreeBSD (2.x, not 3.x), Solaris, etc.  Reports vary on BeOS.  In any
case, a clean, unmodified copy of the OS installs on the virtual
machine.
