No special names. In order to create a bootable CD:

cp -a 6.0pre/images images

mkisofs -R -b images/boot.img -c images/boot.cat -o mariner.iso 6.0pre

cdrecord -eject -v speed=4 dev=4,0 mariner.iso

(dev=4,0 can be determined with cdrecord -scanbus)
