I used a command line FTP program to get the staroffice tar ball . Its very
easy just open a terminal window and type ftp (you need to know all of the
ftp commands). I use lftp not the ftp program that comes with linux.
lftp its a very good program it supports the reget command so when you get
bumped you can restart the download where you left off. Get it here.
