Hi All,
I'm trying to get one machine to backup onto anothers
tape drive using dump. I have to use dump, NFS is not allowed
and the recovery scripts use restore. According to the RFM I can
use "/sbin/dump -0u -f root@remote:/dev/st0 /home" to do a level
0 dump of home. But I get
"Permission denied.
"TCP_MAXSEG setsockopt: Bad file or descriptor"
                                                 (which doesn't help much)
I have the IP of the local (ie non-tape) machine in /etc/hosts.allow
/etc/hosts.equiv and /root/.rhosts on the remote and .rhosts is 0400.
rsh and rlogin both work fine.

Any ideas?
