Yes, it's possible, if you use Exceed's NFS server. On each windows
station, export the floppy and CD.
When the user connects to the Linux machine, it exports their IP address
in the DISPLAY environment variable.
Just make a small script that takes their IP address and put it in each
/home/user/Desktop/Startup directory
REMOTEIP=`export|grep DISPLAY|cut -f2 -d\"|cut -f1 -d:`
mount $REMOTEIP:/floppy /home/user/Desktop/floppy
mount $REMOTEIP:/cdrom /home/user/Desktop/cdrom
Or you could create kdelinks to scripts that mount/unmount the devices.
