I recently bought a Jaz Drive and a Jaz Traveller (the parallel
interface for the drive) to be able to backup my stuffs.
I chose the parallel interface against a PCI-SCSI interface (for the
moment) because I often see customers and I don't want to open their PC
and add my SCSI card since I just have to install a small software on
their computers the first time.
My question is: "Will I be able to use it with Linux like a ZIP
Drive?".
My 2nd question is: "Will I be able to boot Linux on it with just few
floppies and a right configured kernel?".
I didn't see anything on that in HOW-TOs ... except for ZIP drive.
Does someone achieve that with Linux? Maybe, I do have to check on
dejanews for the details?
If yes, do I have the right material with Mandrake 5.3?
Thanks in advance,
Fabien.
