[expert] Oracle 8 + Mandrake 6 --> compatible ?

Is Oracle 8.05 run on Mandrake 6 ?
Oracle had release patch for glib2.1 for RedHat 6 and you need to install 
the compatible bin-utils rpm etc .. to make it work.

Did i need to install those compatible-bin-utils on Mandrake 6 too?
Can those rpm work on Mandrake 6 without problem ?
