So what was the cause of hanging processes?
It was not pgcc issue - I've recompiled kernel with egcs 1.1.2 and got the
same.
Also I compiled different 2.2.x kernels with pgcc with same switches as in
2.2.9-9mdk - they all work correctly.
Pure 2.2.9 kernel behaves well.
With uniform ide patch applied - also.
