Did you simply replace the old RPM's with the updated RPM's, or did you also
rename the updated RPM's to have the same exact names as the ones they
replaced?  I'm thinking of burning an 'updated' CD for myself but am not sure
whether or not I'd need to rename the updated RPM's; you don't mention doing it
but I think someone else on the list said you'd have to for it to work..

Are you sure about that last part?  I have a 56k modem and have the connection
speed in kppp set at 115200, and it works fine.  I usually receive transfers at
at least 4k/sec, often around 4.8k/sec.
