Attempting to regenerate the hdlist may not even be possible in install
stages, due to being on a cdrom.

You'll need a working linux system to modify the packages,
cd to the root of the soon tobe cd and exec
misc/src/install/genhdlist ./
to get your updated packages into the hdlist
