Well, yes, would be nice...
But there is no chat between those two. As I told before,
everything goes smooth until the server sends those ppp packages.
If I dialup in minicom I get the connect message, the
login-interview, the welcome message from the server and thats
all.
Normally at this point I would reveive lines of weird characters
which tell me that now the two of them are talking ppp. In M6 I
don't get that.

The other day I had my ISP's support guy on the other line,
monitoring my dialin on the server-side. He also told me that I'm
connected, logged in but can't receive the ppp packages the
server sends.

As someone else pointed out I should try without kisdn. Well,
basically I do it without kisdn with the same results

I can start 'isdnctrl dial ippp0' and it dials out and hangs at
the same spot with the same error message.

BTW is there a command where ifconfig is involved before dialing
or during dialing? And if there is, where do I put it? That's a
hint I got from another ISDN user (he's using Windows, though).
