If your bios support it, use it to initialize the card ('pnp os: no')
If  you have zindoz, take it parameters (system icon in config panel)
else you can use isapnp (you need the rpms isapnp and pciutil):
        * read /usr/src/linux/Documentation/sound/* (if you have installed the
kernel sources)
        * 'pnpdump -c > /etc/isapnp.conf'
        * verify the parameters pnpdump choosed
        * 'isapnp /etc/isapnp.conf'
        * load sound modules or use sndconf
