It's not a replacement for XWindow nor XFree86 : it's an additional
server for XFree86 and XFree86 gets launched by startx :
First, made it the default X server:
* ln -fs /usr/X11R6/bin/XFCom_SiS /usr/X11R6/bin/X
* ln -fs /usr/X11R6/bin/XFCom_SiS /etc/X11/X
then type 'startx&'
If you only run the X server, you only get your video card to go in
graphic mode, but there is no clients to display. Use startx.
