1) partition (cfdisk/fdisk/...) and format (mke2fs -s1 / mkswap) your
new drive
2) copy your partition :
  - for each of your partition do 'cd sourcepartition;tar cf - *|(cd
DEST;tar xf -)'
3)alter the fstab of your new root fs in order that it mounts the good
partition (and don't swap on your data partitions ...)
4) boot on your new rootfs
