I have a Compaq Deskpro DP2000 with one of Compaq's nice proprietary(?)
risers to plug ISA cards into. This machine is being converted to a
Linux test bed in our department but I cannot get any of my
distributions to recognize the NIC. I have tried to set it manually to
the IRQ and I/O address it is at but this still doesn't work. I am
thinking I need drivers for the riser but I do not know if they are
available or if there is a workaround here. I know the NIC can be
properly recognized as NE2000 compatible ISA and works properly under
Win 98 as such but not so in Linux. Any help?

Thank You,
Robert Mullen
