Hi,

Maybe this is the wrong place to ask, then again, maybe not.
I'm running an X-server (MI/X, but X-Win Pro gives the same problem) on
an NT machine. The client is on a Mandrake Venus system.
When I issue the command kde &, I get a box that states that my X11
server lacks DPMS support. I don't know what this means, but when I
click on OK, KDE seems to load all right. Except for the menu bar at the
bottom of the screen. I can start programs from the telnet session or
from the xterm window, but it would be really cool if I could have the
menu as well. Also I have to position every window on the screen (only
with MI/X). Is there a way to work around this.

Many thanks,

Jo
